Pines lives quietly along Rainier Avenue, tucked into the soft folds of Columbia City. We are a restaurant of small ceremonies - the warm bread brought without being asked, the second pour of tea, the saffron that perfumes a room before a single word is spoken. Every dish is built slowly, the way good stories are: layer by layer, with patience, with love, and with a generous hand. Our table draws from the Persian traditions of long, lingering hospitality and the green hush of the Pacific Northwest forests just beyond the city. We believe a meal should feel like a small letter - written by hand, sealed with wax, addressed only to you. Whether it's a weekday lunch slipped between meetings, a family supper on a rainy Seattle Sunday, or a quiet dinner for two - the welcome is the same. We share Columbia City with neighbors in Rainier Beach, Hillman City, Seward Park, Beacon Hill, Mount Baker, Brighton, Dunlap, Othello, and the wider Rainier Valley. If you can't make it to our table, we'll come to yours - delivery is offered through online ordering, and our kitchen wraps every dish as carefully as if it were arriving in our own dining room.
